1. All Seahawks losses, their opponents scored in the first quarter. I think this is huge and gain momentum.

2. Stopping the Seahawks from being bullies. They love to make an early statement with hits across the middle or even with special teams. I think special teams will be important if we receive. If they come right out the gate and lay the wood on the kick returner this will spark their defense.

These are just my two little cents I would like to contribute.

Stop Marshawn, stop the Seahawks.

That will be our biggest challenge.

I would agree that the kicking game is going to important. Luckily they no longer have Harvin (who ran one back in last year's SB). I think NE has the edge generally in ST's, and I can forsee a ST play (PR TD, blocked FG, forced fumble on KR or PR) being the difference in the game.

I'd add an addendum:

Stop Marshawn, keep Wilson i the pocket, Don't give away the ball, stop the Seahawks.

Do all three things and I don't see how we don't win.

yes seattles kick return is not threatening but their kick off team gets down there fast

Don't let Chancellor jump the line on a kick. I don't think it's a huge thing I just don't wanna see it :)

It's a dome so I expect most kick offs will be touchbacks.

touchdowns over field goals.

Don't mcarthy it. if you have them on the ropes with a chance to go up 7-0 then 14-0 in the first few minutes of the game, you put you foot on their throat and you put them down.

Soon as you go up multiple TD's they will have to abandon the run game.

I think they could stop that by shoving a helmet up his ass.

How did the Panthers allow that more than once?

I think our running game has a chance to be the key factor, even if it doesn't appear to be doing anything. The way I see it is that (assuming your pass protection doesn't completely s*** the bed), you can convert third downs on this defense if they're a manageable distance. If we can run for 2 or 3 yards consistently, it won't look good on the stat sheet, but it will avoid those negative plays that A) puts us in third and long, allowing the Seahawks swarming tacklers to do their thing and B) jacks that defense up to the point where they are like rabid animals.

I know. I can't believe they let that happen the second time. The guy should have at least hit him in the nuts.

I agree but I don't think they will ever abandon the run game. I think the Pack thought that they would not run it at the end of the game and it cost them.

But yes, the Pats need TD and no turn-overs. I would rather have 3 than a TO.
