You don't think every single Pats player is aware of this fact? This is great locker room material. The pundits doubted us against Denver. This Patriots team responded. They will came out angry and hungry against Luck and the Colts as well.

When will the national media learn not to underestimate this Pats team? In any case I love it when we are the underdog. Looking forward to see a huge FU game against the Colts tonight.

i don't think the players care one bit. If they do then extra motivation. But they are pros..they are use to it

I don't even know where to start here.

Ok first, it's not the media who sets the lines it's sports books. This has nothing to do with anything in the media. At all.

Sports books are a business. They don't set lines to disrespect a team, they set the lines to try to balance the money on both sides of the bet so they can make money on the juice. Lines move based on the money being bet not on how much they hate Tom Brady. Books get exposed to risk when too much money is going one way so they move the lines to encourage gamblers to bet the other way. It's not like hollywood where books are trying to outsmart everyone with inside info, all they need to make money -every Sunday- is to get the money being bet to be 50/50.

Again - Vegas has absolutely no interest other than making money. They're not going to set lines that will put them at a huge risk just because someone doesn't like the Patriots. That's a great way to go out of business.

They are an underdog by 3 points, that's home field advantage meaning they are equal. Pats have to have a perfect game and keep running the score. Brady can do this.

Go Pats

What's your point? The game is in Indianapolis against a track team built for a dome.

The Pats have no Chandler, no Mayo and no Ridley. Indy has only lost some reserve OLB named Cam Johnson and Vick Ballard to IR this year, Mathis and Landry are both back and active.

If I were Vegas, I would have the Pats at a slight underdog (less than common homefield advantage, btw) also.

Pats should be a huge underdog. The "bulletin board" stuff is ludicrous. Has nothing to do with respect. It's tough to win on the road let alone against good teams on the road.

Didn't 8 of 13 ESPN talking heads pick NE?

No respect threads are dumb.

Like Fnordcircle (WTF) said, it's Vegas trying to make money by moving the line to suit its needs. In other news, BB has had an extra week to prepare for the Colts.

Of course when you say Vegas moves the line to match bets it means people (or gamblers) collectively favor IND. So they have been "disrespected." If you take that as disrespect.

The Colts are coming off their bye also.
