..i saw ridley's interview on nfl live last week. nice guy, talked about how loved super mario cart. the video game. trey wingo even challenged him to a match.

get well stevan!

Just terrible.

Ridley will be a 2 down free agent RB coming off an ACL/MCL injury. I doubt he'll cost more than 1.5-2 million for a 1 year deal. I've been harsh on him over the years, but I hope he comes back on the cheap to compete for RB1 duties.

White
Gaffney
Bolden (RFA)

We have RBs to compete for depth spots in 2015, but we are going to need a starter. It will be interesting to see what route BB takes. Maybe he goes BPA with one of the top rated backs in the draft.

Such a shame, really like Ridley, loved his running style since he was a rookie. I wish him a speedy recovery and would love to see him in a Pat's Uni next year.

One more thing to add, just like the Gronk knee injury, another POOR form tackle wrecks a guy's knee. Head down launching his shoulder right into a knee, ZERO attempt to wrap up. Unfortunately, Mayo wrecked his own knee making a perfect form tackle. The football gods hate us.

I feel bad for Ridley. He worked hard on his fumbling issues and was having a solid year. I hope his surgery and recovery goes well and he is back in a Pats uniform next year.

Huge blow for us

A run game + defense wins titles

The run game may be able to be resolved with vereen, bolden, and white. But the defense is gonna take a blow. But we haven't lost anyone of key importance in the rest of the d though. We still can win it all.

Vareen isn't an every down back and can't pick up tough yards. I said weeks ago Vareen was overrated and I'm sticking with that, he has almost been as invisible as Amendola and hasn't really done all that much when you look at his career thus far.

Bolden is Bolden, he hasn't really shown anything in his live action. I'm not buying he's going to turn into our bell cow just because Ridley goes down. He can be a solid RB2 if he works hard enough and becomes consistent.

White, let him loose vs the Jets front and let's see what's there.

For the regular season we could probably make it with these backs, but come January, who is going to hang onto the ball and kill the clock drive after drive?

What's the going rate for a Frank Gore? :)

could have been his last game as a patriot...could be why he just sat on the sidelines crying there at the end..everything must hit you at once...too bad i really am a ridley fan. Get well bud

My buddy could careless about his injury and wanted him gone before this becasue of "fumbling" issue. I would still take him and vereen into battle any day of the week.

Gonna hate not seeing 22 out there for us. Love watching him play. He brought a lot of energy to the players. When I was at the Vikings game I saw him jumping up and down like a madman and bouncing on other players during the pregame warmups. I really hope he comes back for us next year.

The football gods hate us.

See the description under my username?

There are no football gods. I become convinced of this after that ******** loss to Baltimore in the 2012 AFCCG was followed by The Murderer being sent off into the sunset under a shower of confetti. No football god would be so cruel.

Time for White and Vereen to step up. We will miss Ridleys toughness but we do have other talented options. And at least there will be less talk about his fumbling now.
