Artificial turf linked to cancer?

It is hard to believe but...wow....

Anyway the solution to schools using artificial turf is to have parents select a school for their your football star based on the playing surface. If they want to protect their son, they should select a school with natural fields. Do parents reall want little Johnny to risk turf toe, staph infections, non-contact injuries, Achilles problems, cancer, etc. Of course knees can be blown out on either real grass or turf but turf seems to be worse because it does not give.
 
Seems like everything causes cancer these days (toothpaste, deodorant, etc.) so I'm not too surprised. Not trying to discredit it though - I'm actually quite paranoid about these sorts of things and prefer all-natural whenever possible
 
And here I thought it was linked to concussions.
