It's easy, and only takes a few moments.A quick question - I'm not sure how many of you watch 'soccer' regularly, but after the quality of the tournament so far and the slight 'success' of the USNMT, are any of you more tempted to go and watch a game or watch more of the European or South American stuff?

Yeah, picking a team is a first a step. Once you start watching games, following transfer news, interacting with other fans and so on - you will become addicted in no time.I would watch again, but I would need a dog in the fight.
But I did watch 3 soccer matches ( missed Portugal).... something I've never done.
There is no "way down" where players in the other 4 sports make that little money. As long as you make the team, you're doing better than $100k because the minimum salaries in all those sports is much higher than that. You get drafted in the 1st round of the MLS and you make around 50K to 100K.
You have to go way down the draft round list to make less than that in the other 4 major sports.
No. Like I said before, as much as the World Cup has been a fun ride and getting good ratings, no one in America is going to care about the next time Barcelona plays Real Madrid.A quick question - I'm not sure how many of you watch 'soccer' regularly, but after the quality of the tournament so far and the slight 'success' of the USNMT, are any of you more tempted to go and watch a game or watch more of the European or South American stuff?
Another note: Besides Green coming in and scoring a goal with his first touch in a WC game, I was really empressed with Yedlin. I know he had a few defensive mistakes, but offensively I thought he was owning the right flank.
Lukaku really gave the US and more specifically Besler problems when he entered the game. That was probably the difference right their.

What a way to go out. I'm proud of the effort they put in for the final 15, but it was too little too late. And Howard? He was ridiculous...amazing! It's too bad it was in a losing effort.
Deutschland vor!! But I'm not totally convinced this is the club to take it all the way.
I'm a Borussia Dortmund supporter and the only time I can usually ever see them (without going online) is if they make the Champions League. I miss watching the Bundesliga; it's a wild league.
As for the MLS, I'm still not totally sold on watching it, but perhaps I'll give a go at some point.
Yedlin was fantastic when he was in. I didn't hear a fraction about him that I had heard about Bradley leading up to the World Cup. The advertisers really screwed up. Bradley was a fizzle.
