No Spikes, Fletcher on Sunday night

Enjoy the loss

The Fletcher Curse continues

God i don't even know if i want to watch sunday night...

I'll watch of course because that's what fans do, but it won't be the typical festive anticipation of a Sunday night game. More like the anticipation of an appointment with a proctologist.

So it seem the only thing we can hope for a win this Sunday is for Brady and the offense to play like the first game in Miami. But since the Jets have a better defense than the Fins, 500 yards for Brady is not going to happen. This either come down to the last 5 minutes of the game or the Pats got blow out.

Knowing that our D and secondary are decimated, and Brady having difficulty with the Jets D..... All you can hope is for the Jets to beat themselves and Brady play a flawless game.

5-4 won't be too bad...

W.T.F.???????????????????

Spikes is out...not Welker, Wilfork, or Brady :bricks:

Apparently to many, our season now depends on the health of Brandon Spikes ??

I agree that it is not encouraging news, but the team will move on.

Sheesh!!!!!

The Bandwagon has nearly emptied.

I see that, my god...

I thought I was pessimistic (or "cautiously optimistic" as I like to pretend)

Whether they win or lose (they win Sunday, in my opinion) this team is not going down without a fight.

Some people are always the optomist, others just face reality.

What?? Bull! The game has not even started for gods sake and we have so many of you deriding the team for a sure loss.

Here's a suggested rewording of your post, which btw is reality: "Some people are always optimists, some are always pessimists."

You pessimists can give up on the team and not watch the game; some of us optimists will watch and root for the team irrespective of the outcome.

GO PATS!!

To be fair, Mayo's still recovering from injury as well.

The DT had better play big, given that everybody behind them in the center of the field is either nicked up, entirely ruled out, or not very good.

At least one of Mayo or Chung had better have his A- game as well ...

wat

Why was my post included in there? I'm clearly being sarcastic and overrating the importance of Fletcher. He's from the city I live in, and it's a rarity for Montana athletes to do much in the NFL. Let alone play for my favorite team.

Yup, I found it shocking that Miami was fielding 3 Griz just a couple weeks ago... all of which were not only on the 53, but getting significant playing time (Wilson starting at CB due to injury, Lex as change-of-pace back/FB, and obviously Carp at kicker). As a UM grad, it was just crazy to see. There's a few other guys too... like Biermann in Atlanta (who is back getting more snaps since Ray Edwards turned into a FA bust) and Mariani in Tennessee (KR Pro Bowler last year).

Montana's makin' its way up!

Pat Chung might be out. Ross V was just signed and Underwood was cut.

Welcome to the Tracy White era...

Actually, this is the welcome back Cunningham ( Jermaine) party. Also Anderson has been dropping back into coverage a little bit more. In the middle the Patriots are light but on the outside they have decent depth (although they are all average at least there is a lot of them).

If that's reality, you need to root for the Rams, not a team in first place with ten consecutive winning seasons.

Of course, since you're a jets troll, your team is temporarily in first place too.

If Cunningham doesn't take snaps at linebacker this week, then I think we can say pretty definitively that Belichick doesn't envision him as a 4-3 LB.

Keep sucking down that Kool Aid.

Well, a bad defense just got worse with two main contributors sitting against the NYJ tonight. If this menagerie of garbage masquerading as a defense (thanks to terrible drafts, horrid FA acquisitions, and injuries) manages to step on the field in a playoff game, this may be one of Belichick's greatest coaching jobs ever. Granted, he is responsible for assembling this junior high defense, but still, making the playoffs with the craptacular defense would almost be a miracle.

I enjoy the raspberry flavor.

Your sour posting indicates some serious dehydration, better start getting hydrated early, maybe you can sleep through the game so we can enjoy it.

Just keep believing this team is going somewhere in the playoffs this year, you will be fine till playoff time comes.

By the way that quote should be "We are building a team, with players who have NO talent".
