Hello! I'm Joe (Superpatsfan1 on the old board back in the day) and I used to post tons and tons on the old patriots message board. Getting back into it now that there is some time to do so. Huge week coming up! Can't wait to see how it unfolds.
There is room for cautious optimism, that's about as far as I will take it.
Our D did not look great nor like a complete sieve last night. I'd say though, that if this group can get a little healthier, and improve a little more each week it does have a chance to be more stout than we've...
Agreed. He's not quite the pure nose tackle the Mt. Washington was, he brings far more to the table and can play anywhere along the line, can rush the passer some and has a real nose for the ball. If he can get another ring or two...he might be HOF material. That good IMO.
I hear ya. my comment was relative to the massive CB screw-ups we've had since we drafted Sameul in 2003. Noone have come close to panning out and none have had anything close to success when they departed either leading me to conclude that BB and his scouts pretty much suck when it comes to...
I like it because if nothing else, it's something to talk about during the bye.
Like most I'm sure, for a 4th I'm cool. He's not a smurf like 99% of the CB's we draft or acquire and he's got a proven history of making plays (18 picks, 3 TD's).
If he F's up, we cut him and not a big deal...
Hello everyone....
Half full.
If we could just play 4 solid quarters, we'd be undefeated.
Tom is still Tom...but he's taken a lot of beatings over the years and isn't ever going to be the same guy that stands in and moves up in the pocket with purpose instead of looking to duck the hit...
I'm Joe...originally from upstate NY, but now live in Huntsville, AL. Have been a Pats fan since 79..(we beat the Jets that day 56-3 so I guess you could say I jumped on the bandwagon that day). I used to post a ton over on the old team website MB.
