Uh... great.
I'm going to predict that UMass wins this game 4-1, with goals from Wellman, Marcou, and two from Ortiz. Army will get a late short-handed goal after it's 4-0 when we get sloppy.
The great thing about UMass hockey is that nearly all the away games are closer to Boston than the home games.
Edit: Btw, that link in your signature should read "UMass Wins 1998 National Championship".
The guy who covers UMass football closest published this list, not sure if it's based on inside info or total speculation:
Kevin Morris, UMass OC
Tom Masella, Fordham HC and former UMass DC
Jack Cosgrove, Maine HC
**** Biddle, Colgate HC
Tom Gilmore, Holy Cross HC
Phil Estes, Brown HC...
He brought them to the championship game, not the championship. It was another win for App State.
He does leave with the best 4 year record in the history of the school though. Can't argue with that.
I always thought Don Brown was kind of a ****. He seemed annoyed that he had to appear on his own damn tv show. His practices seemed to consist of yelling and dropping a lot of f-bombs. I think we can do better. Granted, we could also do a lot worse.
F**kin' A'! We didn't even play as well as we could have, especially down the stretch. Let's take these next two games and have a chance to get back to .500 when we host Vanderbilt. We may have a chance to make a run and save a season that was looking disastrous prior to the overtime loss to BC.
Official prognosis for Bonner is a strained MCL. They're hoping he can return by the middle of next month. That would be great news, I thought he was done.
Some SIU player fell on Bonner's left knee. They were letting a lot of contact go because SIU plays an extremely physical style. Bonner was last seen on crutches.
Way, way too early to get down on Kellogg. This was among the hardest circumstances to step into: a rookie coach installing a...
I was there. We had a good crowd (by Parsons standards), definitely outnumbered Northeastern fans, and our band made it somewhat like a home game. NU is a decent team, and it was a good win on the road, but the same problems are plaguing us: giving up too much yardage, particularly on the...
Great game! The defense is back to its old form, forcing seven 3 & outs, though how much of that is due to Delaware's offense being chicken**** is yet to be determined.
Next up is Northeastern, who has looked better than expected with close losses at Syracuse and Georgia Southern and...
Basketball: In fact we did just add a 2-for-1 with Holy Cross to the basketball schedule. The away game next year will be played at the larger Worcester arena, not HC's on campus gym. We tried to work something with Northeastern, but it looks like we're going to end up playing them in a...
