I am somewhat surprised that Musinski was cut. He caught three passes in two preseason games for two first downs and one touchdown.

The Pats lack depth and quality at the WR position...their kickoff coverage is still suspect. It does seem like they are better going into this season at every other facet of the game than they were going into last season, however I think that some people are overlooking the WR position way too...

Caldwell looked better in the second half. Perhaps he needs more time to learn the playbook? I'm not ready to give up on him just yet, especially with the lack of depth and quality among the receivers.

You are correct. I think that's the only way that Patrick makes the team. I don't think Mills is going anywhere, after all he's a rookie fourth round pick. It comes to down to Evans and Cobbs. The most telling thing to me is that it was Evans that entered the game in the 2nd quarter last...
