    "NFL Charms Wembley" - A Brit's blog

Now I'm a football fan, but you should watch some high-level rugby union sometime. Those guys tackle as hard as football players and with much better form. The big guys aren't as big (300 pounds, tops), but top-level locks, loose forwards and three-quarters have all the physical attributes to...

    Official Patriots/Bucs Post Game Thread

The crowd were booing the hell out of that call. It was just obviously idiotic. Everyone knew that was a seriously dumb move.

OT: Goodell visits Hitler's bunker in London

Think I saw this interview in the flesh. Was it out in front of the stadium on Wembley Way?

Will the rain in London make the field unplayable

It's a beautiful, crisp Autumn morning here, about fifty miles north of Wembley. Forecast for tonight: 14 deg C and clear. BBC Weather | Wembley Looking good. Off to London in an hour.

Kraft: NFL should expand to Europe

The thing which could scuttle it, actually, would be the green argument. Not that the impact of one team is enormous, but it could turn into really bad PR. I'd love a team over here, though. Love it. I wouldn't stop being a Pats fan, but of course I'd go to the games.

    Red uniforms in London?

Most of the stadium are going to be Pats fans. Including me. Why would you want to mock your supporters? The Revolutionary War was a long, long time ago, man. :)

    Question about international NFL games

When you hear Manchester United, think Yankees. That about covers it.

    London

It sort of works: I used to go to Claymores games there as a teenager. Whoever thought Gav Hastings would make a decent kicker was delusional. I'm from Edinburgh, but I've lived in Cambridge for ten years. My neighbours emigrated to Boston in '85, just after Channel 4 had started showing...

    London Trip - 10/25/09

Just quickly dropping into this thread to say I'll be at the game. (If any of you are on the bosco.net list, hi there!)

Running Back: It’s Gonna Be Maroney

Maroney averages well north of 4YPC for his career. Laurence Maroney: Career Stats If he stays healthy - huge if, I admit - he's capable of being one of the top ten backs in the league, particularly with the work he's done receiving. If he's returning kicks he may well be up near 2000...

    FieldPass

And posting here's shamed it into working. Job done. :)
