I find it hard to believe they would do a deal with an agreement to trade butler at a later date. Butler could sign an offer sheet elsewhere and mess any agreement up. Sure the two teams could revisit a trade at a later date but it would have nothing to do with the cooks trade

Decent pickup. Cant be worse than what we had after Hightower and Collins last year but if things go to plan next season he likely only sees the field for 30% snaps. Will be a utility backup.

I dont see anyway Bennett would take a paycut. If you look at the deals handed out to Allen and Fleener, you could argue that Bennett would prefer to be cut.

As much as the passing possibilities look amazing. Bennett like Gronk is a great run blocker. If teams try to go small to match up in the passing game they can audible and just run all over them.

You could say the same about blount. In his 2+ seasons with the pats he has like 16 targets while morris usually tops that a season. Also of morris has improved on the fumbles going from 5 to 2 to 0 over the last 3 seasons. I honestly think he is a much better fit than blount.
