I don't have much scouting info on this guy, but he seems perfect. High-character, smart, great size 6-4 240-250 and speed 4.5. def someone to keep your eyes on looking to next year when we really will need a LB
for all of you who agreed w/ me bout meriweather/no LB, im glad you share my wisdom. for all of you who swore by your failed predictions, goodluck next yr. haha. totally kidding. kind of. either way, pats put themselves in a great spot for picking up under the radar talent in the late rds this...
theres no way you'd get a LB for stallworth-his deal was essentially a 1 yr contract w/ like an 8 mil option at the end of the year which we will def not pickup, making him a UFA.
24- trade for mid 2nd and 3rd, plus 2nd 2008
28. meriweather
rd 2 trade pick. bradley/mcCauley
rd 3 trade pick. jonathan wade/aundrae allison
rd 3. josh gattis (as a SS, not FS)/courtney taylor
rd 4. desmond bishop
w/e sleeper picks you like w/ our late rds...
i always wonder what exactly football instinctsts consist of---hit guy hard? the pats fs plays the true cf role, with rodney usually up in the box. while nelsons range is outstanding, it dosen't seem like hes got the mind you'd want for the BB defense. as good as he may be athletically, BB won't...
patsnutme-dont lecture me on forum conduct if your going to be obnoxious. according to my friend, whos watched every nebraska game the past 4 yrs bradley has been there, his game didnt translate well to the nfl. i personally disagreed based on numbers/what ive seen on tape, but it would make...
my friends' knock on him was the he plays too slow for the nfl. i can't really argue since I've only seen his highlight clips, but my friend thought carriker would make a better LB than bradley-at 290 lbs. bradleys combine numbers/workout reviews are strong, so I could definetly see the pats...
i think this whole idea should stop at the fact that the bills wouldnt have just let clements (whose a equal if not better cb than samuel) go only to pay asante the same kind of money and lose the 12 pick in the process. even a matt millen is incapable of that kind of move.
not coffee bro, aderol. and why would you put one of those wink things in? thats jus weird dude. w/e though. im actually curious what you think the pats will do-you seem fairly confident in your breakdowns of my posts/opinions-put something on the table for me bro
and bruins you may have gotten my post confused. your argument seemed to be that the pats have gone against conventional thought in the past few drafts-which only reaffirms my initial point that despite everyone thinking the pats will go LB 1st rd that they will go a different direction.
and btw, I called both the maroney and jackson pick last year, as well as watson before (Ill be honest-I wasn't expecting wilfork, but it became an obvious BPA situation as he fell down the board, and mankins came out of nowhere for every1 so w/e). maybe I've been lucky, but if you watch all the...
and i was wasn't chiding others as much as I was trying to reveal the weakness of the "we dont need a stomper" conclusion on meriweather. but im sorry if I was too blunt for you.
i mean if you'd like to manipulate my comments and take things completely out of context knock yourself out pal. if you think i come off as an expert, then i appreciate the compliment. and as far as the other posters prediction that i was going to regurgatate draft site rankings, please don't...
despite what seems like common theory, i am placing my bets that the pats will not take a LB at 24 or 28, with the exception that willis falls to 24. i know beason seems like a good option, but i think if the pats decide LB is a major future need, they will trade our first this year to get a...
