Brian Cox
I love that guy. He is hilarious. I was hoping he would join our coaching staff. I can just see him and Bill sitting around a campfire with cigars and whiskey.
I agree with this completely. There are few corners available with his size. He allows us to match up with anyone. We will definitely need him. I just want my elite secondary to have one more year together. Is that too much to ask?
The difference is last years defense could stop someone when they had to. I don't care about the score. The defense shut it down in the fourth quarter.
I think the issue with the Revis decision is the fact that we have to be under the cap by March 10th. Unless we restructure a few players today or tomorrow or extend Revis, they will have to decline his option.
This isn't a good draft to need a safety. There is a lot of cornerback depth. I think we will draft one regardless. The cornerback play was pretty impressive at the combine.
In the Indy deal the taxpayers paid for the stadium and the team keeps all stadium concession revenue. They also keep the concession revenue for events and conventions had in the stadium. I'm not sure what the city could possibly get from that besides the right to continue being one of the worst...
I have watched a lot of film on McCourty from this past season. He covers up a lot of sins. I am less convinced that we can just plug someone in and get even 75% of what MxCourty provides. There isn't a honey badger in this draft.
The worst deal in the league is the Colts stadium deal. Highway robbery. The problem is the citizens do not get a say in if those things are passed. A city board makes the decision. Since the Irsay family has a history of moving teams, I guess that board rolled over. We are lucky to have Kraft.
