You fools want to write off Chad Jackson

The beautiful thing is you don't need the Moss from Minnesota. The the first season in Oakland would be fine. I believe if he plays 16 games you will see 50-65 grabs for 700-1000 yards & 10-14 TD's. The grabs & yards could vary be the double digit TD's will be a lock IMO. After Game 5 in...

    Moss in no win situation?...

With his history that's a fair wrap. However if he produces & significantly helps the Pat's win a Super Bowl then it will balance out in the long run & he will go to the Hall of Fame. Especailly if he a has a big AFC Championship Game or Super Bowl.

Peter King with a Blood Pumping, Feel Good Piece

You haven't seen a lot of the Minny Moss. He was used a lot in the slot there. Especailly against a Cover 2 in long yardage situations. He's an immediate threat to run a skinny post to split your safeties. Minny would run a back or tight end behind him a ton for first downs. He's also...

    Moss shopped to SF first...

Re: He was shopped around the league... Once Moss showed signs he wasn't going to play for the Raiders, i.e., not taking the coach or organizations phone calls. You had to get what you could for him no matter what. Tom Flores said on Sirius radio, that they weren't sure he was even going...

    Moss shopped to SF first...

He was shopped around the league... Apparently Bill Willamson of The Denver Post & MSNBC said that the Raiders even shopped him to the Bronco's which is hilarious. Shannahan said that he spoke to Moss' agent but they wouldn't budge on the money. I believe his agent must have told a lot of...

Lower than low: Hill's house hit by burglers the day of the funeral [merged]

Correct. That's what makes me think it could be an associate of the family which is as low as it can get.

How good is Randy Moss at this point?

Don't make excuses for Culpepper. They kept the SAME exact OFFENSE with the EXACT verbage. Here is the thing with Culpepper & go ask any objective Culpepper fan. He was only average at reading coverage. He would either throw the bomb or a throw a check down before going thru all of...

How good is Randy Moss at this point?

Simple. Your not getting the guy from Minny from 98'-03. Your getting the player from 04-05 Moss. That guy will be more then fine. In both years he was off to terrific starts only to be injured in game 5 both years. He had 26 grabs for 404 yards & 8 TD's in 4 games & one quarter in...

How good is Randy Moss at this point?

Those numbers can be deceiving. First off Culpepper threw 18 TD's his first 5 games. Randy Moss had 404 yards & EIGHT TD's before being injured in the first quarter of game 5. The Vikings average 31 points in the first 5 games. Randy Moss played in 2 snaps in game 6 & 5 snaps in...
