2016 Draft Day 3: Rounds 4-7 Thread

I know next to nothing about Mitchell, but from the scouting reports it sounds like a Saints-type guy. I'm talking about the peak of the Brees era when he just had a ton of medium size/speed guys to spread it around to.

Bob McGinn had him as the 12th best receiver in the draft, but there doesn't appear to be a lot of negatives with him except the lingering effects of the ACL injury. Bright kid, character kid, productive, talented, good size, runs well. Just have to hope the knee works out.

12. MALCOLM MITCHELL, Georgia (5-11 ½, 197, 4.43, 4): Blew out his ACL in the 2013 opener and was still having problems with the knee at the Senior Bowl. "The key will be the medical," said one scout. "The knee is a concern. He's got talent. At his pro-day workout he worked out as a corner." Highly rated CB out of Valdosta, Ga., and actually started three games there in '12. Finished with 174 catches for 2,350 (13.5) and 16 TDs. "Steady eddie," another scout said. "Very bright kid. Great character kid. Been a good producer."

I'm OK with the Mitchell pick. But man, next year I need to pick all the players I don't want in the draft contest on here and get the ones I do drafted by us.

It is for me. Probably the most disappointing draft of the Belichick era for me, and I don't get pessimistic easily.

Time to go enjoy the day, screw this crap.

Nothing is more disappointing than the 2009 draft. Almost every pick was a WTF.

WTF is it with this team and its level of comfort drafting players with ACL/medical issues.

Still having issues at the Sr. Bowl???? Gawd.

Someone calm me down

Malcolm Mitchell started his career as a DB? So we've drafted a CB who started as WR and a WR who started as a DB.

Colts admittedly aren't drafting so bad his year. Probably won't help them much for next year though outside of Kelly.

And also if you guys think our RB situations bad All Indy has is a 33 year old Frank Gore for RB's right now.

One of my binkies in Ricardo Louis went two picks later. Will be interesting to compare their careers. I think Mitchell is the better, more polished receiver, but I thought Louis had a chance to be a real x-factor for this offense with his size, speed, and leaping ability.

Ultimately, Mitchell will be a better fit for us; I was just excited about the potential.

Mitchell is an awesome pick.

If we took Mitchell in the third and Brissett here I wouldn't have been as mad as I was last night.

Bill always evens things out. Got Roberts and Dennard in the 6th, which immediately made me feel better about the early reaches.

He tore his ACL in 2013. He should be completely healed by now.

When's our next pick. I thought we had 2 fourts

jests- Juston Buris

Well, if it weren't for that comfort level, they'd have lost the second-best player they've drafted this century.
