Default This is NOT the best 53 we could put together

You can't convince me Taripian will give more value to the team than Randy Moss.

You can't convince me that Kyle Love will have more of an impact than Gerard Warren.

In BB I trust.

Randy will be here only if Deion, Wes, or Chad gets hurt.

Gerald will be back

Love will be an inactive backuup NT in case Wilfork is injured. Belichick has judged that Love is the best choice at that role.

Warren will likely be back, hopefully in place of Tarp.

Love has youth and upside.....and could be claimed if waived....

Warren will be on Pats shadow roster......

Pats didn't lose anyone by waiving Warren.....

Does Randy play ST's? Pats have a full roster at WR.....If a WR gets hurt, MAYBE BB would consider Randy, but I wouldn't count on it.....

Well then I hope Deion gets hurt, because Moss provides way more value IMO. He's not as good after the catch, but he's a much better red zone target, long ball target, and opens up the field more.

We aren't suppose to convince you, their performance on the field is.

Really? Hoping a player of the team you support gets injured???

Wow!

Tarpinian over Moss, yes. Please, for the love of Kraft, get it through your skull that the 2011 Moss is NOT 2007 Moss, his skills have diminished rapidly, which means he doesn’t get the ball as much, which means he’s a diva and a pain to deal with. Moss is also predictable, he goes deep and that’s about it, he shys away from contact and wont go over the middle. Give me 2011 Price any day of the week over Moss.

If no one can convince you of these things, why make a thread?

I'm just not sure what content you are looking for here.

You can't convince me you didn't sleep through the 2009 and 2010 seasons.
Moss = more downside and disruption for a few limited moments of ESPN highlights than HAVING ANYONE ELSE on the roster.

As someone else said Love = longterm upside (we have to have some knind of youth on DL wiht all those over 30s there) and Warren has told BB and the world he aint going anywhere. If he wasn't going to crack the game day 45 anyway - then waived = same as 53 at this point.

There is always room for improvement; that is why BB (and pretty much no other NFL team) has the same 53 on Jan 5 as they did on 1 Sep.
