I'm going to go ahead and just post this in the Practice Squad because that's where it'll end up.

Why, why, why do grown men refer to other grown men as their "binkies"?

Isn't a binkie another term for pacifier? You know, those things that babies suck on.

I just don't get it

I believe binkie means security blanket, not a passifier
