Default Jags Cut The Mularkey

Mike Mularkey fired by Jaguars - NFL - SI.com

I would have been more sympathetic about this firing if Mularkey didn't cheap out and pull the cheat card after the Pats beat him.

Didn't last one calendar year as JAX head coach (1/11/12 - 1/10/13). I am sure he'll catch on somewhere, but he definitely deserved to be let go, in my opinion. What a sorry franchise that is down there.

Hilarious. Their new GM worked with Mularkey in Atlanta and he still fired him. And to top it off, the new GM is highly interested in Mike Nolan who is the DC in Atlanta and was when Mularkey was OC. What a huge diss.

And yet Sexxy Rexxy still has the HC in the Jersey swamps but the Rats can't get a GM to take the job.

Go figure...

Suprised it took this long. I truly feel Jville isn't as bad talent wise as their record.

Should have never hired him in the first place. Especially after that meltdown vs the giants in the playoffs as the falcons OC. I heard they were planning on firing him if he didn't get hired by J-ville.

One more vacancy Rex is going to have to compete with for a sucker to step into his OC vacancy.

that game where he threw all his headset equipment onto the field because he was angry at a bad call was hilarious.

They had to do a complete housecleaning, even if they liked Mularkey. The taint of last season needed to be completely removed. Fortunately for AFCE fans, Woody Johnson doesn't get this, and Cryin' Ryan is still HC of the NYJ.
