It looks as if he will be cut which means he can pick whatever team he wants to go to. If he goes and plays outdoors I think it will ruin his legacy as there's no way he'll be playing up to the same level as before.

I thought Arizona would be the best place for him. They're the only dome team that has a QB issue and they already have a great WR for him to throw to.

My money is on retirement.

I would think Arizona would be an excellent spot for Manning. Larry Fitzgerald and eight games in Glendale? That's a top-flight reciever in fantastic stadium with natural grass AND a dome! Add to that a game in San Francisco, Seattle, and St. Louis and you have a cushy gig to say the least! Besides the 49ers, who's the Cards' toughest competition? And, I'm not convinced the 49ers are for real, either. Release Kolb, and get Manning (provided he can still play).

I like the idea of him on Dallas but I dont see that happening. Dallas is not giving up on its own franchise QB for one that has huge injury concerns and would cost a boatload. I think they should consider it because I think Romo holds them back but I see no signs that the Cowboys feel that way.

I am going to stick with the NFC East as I think that is a fun spot for him to land as it is not our conference and its his brothers division. Seeing as Eli has 2 rings now it would be fun to watch the 2 go up against eachother twice a year, maybe Eli wins two this year and reveals Peyton to be the loser he is. Problem with the NFC East is Giants, Cowboys, and Eagles all have their QBs already (if I were the Eagles or Boys I would take Peyton over Vick or Romo but doubt it will happen) that leaves the Redskins who really could use him and have an owner who will pony up and a Head Coach who should appeal to a vet like that.

So there you have it my favorite landing spot for Peyton is Washington.

I would be ok with anywhere in the NFC and I think the only team I could be OK with it in the AFC would be Cleveland as at least this way they would be taking wins and potential playoff spots from the Steelers and Ravens. I gues there are a couple of other AFC teams I would be ok with just not AFC East.

Tennessee is probably one of the least likely places for him to end up. He'd be an upgrade over Hasselbeck, but in reality Locker could end up replacing Hasselbeck this coming season. Had Mike Munchak not been stuck on Hasselbeck coming off his leg injury Locker probably gets the Titans in the playoffs over Bengals. Having Locker sit over half his contract does not do anyone any good.

Is Peyton's long time co-ordinator, Tom Moore, still with the Jets? If so, that makes the most sense to me.

As long as there is no agreement to delay, Peyton will be cut before the season starts or he will be paid $28M. His bonus would NOT be part of the compensation by another team. The colts could absorb the $28M cap hit in order to get the significant compensation for trading Manning.

Thus the colts could pay the $28M and tyhen negotiate with other teams (and allow Peyton to negotiate with other teams.

All this being said, I expect that Peyton will retire or play for the jets.

The Cardinals make sense - they can get out of Kolb's contract, they've got got Manning's old QB coach, they've got weapons, and could potentially win double digit games with a good QB.

Creator of the Pats must draft Jason Verrett in 2014 no matter the cost fanclub.

1. 49ers: Alex Smith is only going to get 2-3 year offer, why not sink that into a performance based contract for Peyton? Money left to bring in Wayne, or another WR. Great TE, RB, stellar defense, good return game. The only con might be that San Fran is not a dome? Instant Sb contenders, and I dare say favorites if they get a WR or 2.

1a. Arizona: For all the previously mentioned reasons.

2. Tennessee: Solid foundation to build on, Houston is the only real division competition.

Just because it makes for a good story, Baltimore: Ditch Flacco, make 1-2 year run with Colt's old city. Defense is old, but so what, it's fantasy here. While we're at it, revert to old Peyton in AFCCG, and throw game sealing pick 6 to a soon to be drafted rookie DB on New England sending Ray Lewis into cardiac arrest and leaving T-Sizzle's mouth agape so wide he accidentally swallows Ed Reed.
