Default OT: Jets haven't learned from the Favre incident -- still lying on the Injury report

According to ESPN

Three starters have surgery - Jets Blog - ESPN New York

Mike DeVito (shoulder), G Matt Slauson (shoulder) and S Eric Smith (knee) have had surgery since the season has ended.

Marcus Dixon (shoulder) is scheduled for surgery.

And Mark Sanchez has been playing injured for the last 6 weeks, but doesn't need surgery.

However, Sanchez, Slauson and Dixon weren't on the injury report. Pretty obvious if you are injured enough for surgery you are injured enough for the report.

Dang, I thought this was going to be a joke thread about the Jets not releasing their injury report this week.

Did the injuries keep them from practicing fully with the team, or lead to any likelihood that they might not play? Or did they just have lingering physical issues that didn't significantly impair them and that they planned to address in the offseason?

Stinkin' Jets or no, the latter is pretty routine -- including on the Patriots.

^^^^ lingering physical injuries that didn't prevent them from practicing are documented as follows:

Full Parcitipation - Probabable.

I thought they were going to have lobotomies so they could deal with the disfunction of their locker room.

If emotional injuries had to be listed on the report, Tomlinson and Holmes would never get off it.
