Good move by him. That offense was already on the way up, with Bradford, Saffold, Jackson, Clayton, etc. Bradford alone makes that probably the most attractive OC job out there. This team will get a lot better, and McDaniels is going to end up looking really good. Will probably even spring him into another HC job in the not-too-distant future.

They're gonna need better WR's and help out that o-line if they are gonna be able to run McDaniel's offense.

JMcD just may help him stretch out his career. Less carries. More effective.

With that said, in 2006 and 2008 the run/pass was pretty close to 50/50.

In 2005 and 2007, it was a bit out of wack but in 07 I really can't blame him. In 05 Dillon was hurt so they needed to pass a bit more.

Good situation for everyone involved. Will be interesting to see if they do more spread offense like Bradford played in back in college.

He turned Brandon Lloyd into a Pro Bowl WR. That's no small feat.

Not such a great GM/personnel guy ( Broncos gave him that power then stepped on his throat for giving it to him, McDaniels didn't fall on his sword, he was tossed onto one) but a good coordinator.

Coach Spags was on the edge of probably getting fired if Bradford didn't develop. Sometimes timing and luck is what matters most.
