I smell a NO!

If Shanahan didn't want to work in New York, why in the world would he want to go to Buffalo to coach the Bills?

Good deal for both Buffalo and Shanahan provided the latter is satisfied with the minimum wage.

Guaranteed two chances a year to work his voodoo on the Pats instead of just whenever?

But unless Wilson is willing to give him carte blanche...and I'm not so sure he'd take it even then.

Pass rush? Uneccessary when you have 72 CBS playing.
Lbs? What for, we have no pass rush, they gonna chuck it at our lousy CBS...all 72 of them bums

this is a good move for them. fire Jauron now and get a head start on courting the best candidate out there. you know the skins and browns will be after Shanahan as soon as the last game of the season ends.

I heard on Mike & Mike that the Bears are considering firing Lovie Smith (because someone's got to take the fall for the Cutler debacle) and going after Shanahan, who is apparently from Chicago.
