Default Jauron MAY be in trouble in Buff

I mention this ONLY because of the impact on the games left...Basically PFT mentions this and that they MAY need to win 2 of the last 3....Jets...Denver.... NE....HOPING they can do something tomorrow and be closer out when the Pats get there....

And to think people had him as coach of the year candidate after 4 weeks.

After this season the Bills will be tied with the Lions (never a good thing) for the longest playoff drought in the NFL right now.

I thought Jauron had been extended, but apparently that was never finalized.

In any event, didn't they suffer some significant injuries? Not that such things are an excuse - at least no one lets them be with the Pats....

But I thought Jauron was a good move for them, and barring injuries I think you'd see the Bills with two more wins as of now - which if I'm not mistaken would have them in a 4 way tie for first place in the Division. Hardly a situation where someone would need to be fired.

I think that would be a mistake. There seems to be an annual overrating of their talent, which is still bottom half of the league, imo.

Offensively, I'd only put Lee Evans as a game-changer, and he is still woefully inconsistent. Marshawn Lynch is a hard runner, but really very average; Trent Edwards has not progressed at all; and the expensive oline are all over the place.

Defensively he's got them going in the right direction, and they've got some pretty solid talent at all levels (Stroud, Schobel, Posluszny, Mitchell, Whitner, a solid set of CBs).

They are still way too reliant on special teams, and really need an infusion of offensive talent before they will be a consistently good team. Maybe Edwards, Hardy, and Lynch will all make a step up next year.

That zombie is most likely out of Buffalo next year.

Last year they were decimated, but this year they've actually been one of the luckier teams with injuries.

Aaron Schobel has been their only significant loss. Trent Edwards is injured now (1 game missed), Josh Reed missed a few weeks, and Terrence McGee missed 2 or 3 earlier in the year. I believe that is all the games that starters have missed.

NO extension...I think it stalled as their play did... they have said that he probably needs to win two of three to come back..and even then NOT guaranteed...MY HOPE is that he riles the team up to meet the Jets..but loses it by the last game...when they play the Pats...the last game is their ONLY home game..so maybe if the fans turn on him..they will be booing...interesting as they started hot...
