Default OT: Boise State vs. Virginia Tech

Well, I've been drinking Sam Adams Summer Ale most of the day trying to enjoy my Labor Day weekend, so my inhibitions are lowered right now which is probably causing me to post a bad thread. Forgive me. On top of that, I figured I give the mods something to do so they can move this.

Anyway, I know some of you Bostonians aren't crazy about college football , but this one is a good watch. For those of you who like good, physical, smashmouth football, this is the game for you. Boise roared out to a 20-7 lead, but Virginia Tech has since come back to take the lead 21-20. Looks like this one is setting up to be a good ending, though probably not nearly as good as the UNC/LSU game. It's on ESPN for anybody that's starved for football and forgot about this one.

Boise State's DJ Harper just broke off a 71 yard run to give the lead back to Boise State, 27-21. There's also a good amount of guys on both of these teams that could be fugture Pats.

I'm watching it, all the way from Portugal.
It's beeing good, but those special teams are simply ridiculous.

Yeah. Usually Frank Beamer's special teams play much better than they have tonight.

Enjoyable game. I keep feeling that Taylor is going to get creamed when he takes off.

I've been watching it a little, did you see the end of the navy/ maryland game? I couldn't figure out why Navy went for a TD on fourth down, they could have tide it with a FG.

I don't think that pass interference was as "obvious" as Musberger made it out to be. The guy was going up for the ball. Don't agree with that one at all.

Yeah, that one was a good one. Navy really shot themselves in the foot there. Between that bad call and the fumbles, they did themselves in. Should have went with the FG. Maryland's offense wasn't capable of sustaining a drive, and Maryland's defense had been on the field for 80+ plays. Going into OT definitely would have worked in Navy's favor.

Talking about college football.
Did you see Michigan's Denard Robinson play the other night?
I was amazed.

We just have to try to evaluate them the best we can."
