It's a wrap we would officially have reloaded if this draft came to fruition.
I like you're thinking. Move back from 7 for a 2. Then move up to get our olb. But, you have us getting 2 olb's. Why not one ILB?

1. V.Gholston - OLB - Ohio St - Pass rushers are like gold. But, he gives us that pass-rusher to help us get off of the field. Allows A.Thomas to play move of a rover role and slide inside.

2. P. Lee - CB - Auburn - Fills a need. I'd love to trade up from 62. But, I'll do mine without trades. I have these guys in 1st round; L.McKELVIN,M.Jenkins,DRC,A.Talib and
R.Smith. Leaves C.Godfrey,T.Porter,A.Cason,P.Lee and B.Flowers falling into 2nd round.
We're late in Round 2. So that leaves us who's left not top guys. But, I can definately see us trading our 3 here to move up.

3a C.Jackson - CB - LSU - We will need a nickel back. And, someone who can push E.Hobbs.
Other cb's prob available here; T.Thomas,T.Williams,J.King and Stanruck.

3b Traded up to get a cb in Round 2.

4-7 Who knows.

Would lean towards offense. Seems there might be a wr there who can help. Perhaps a guy like D.Bryant. Who is also an excellent kick returner. Can get a development player for ol, te and rb here too.

Free Agency
1. R.Moss - WR
2. J.Gaffney - WR
3. V.Hobson - ILB
4. J.Seau - ILB Have a feeling Tedi retires.

5. JAY LEHMAN, LB ILLINOIS
6. Jack Ikegwuonu CB Wisconsin
7. Thomas Brown RB Georgia
Just an FYI,
My best friend lives next to Lehmans older brother and he got hurt either in the bowl game or working out for the combine(can't remember what he told me) but he said the injury is pretty bad and even jay knows he probably won't get drafted now because he will not be able to work out before the draft.

First - trade down with either Carolina, Detriot or Chicago and pick up an extra #2.

1.) Groves OLB Auburn - Finally some suddenness off the edge.
2A.) Cason CB Arizona - Excellent ball skills and adds value as a return man.
2B.) Red Bryant NT Texas A&M - Someone to backup Wilfork
3A.) Jonathon Goff ILB Vandy - Runs a 4.6 and has the size and smarts. Forth ILB and special teams for a year while waiting for Bruschi to retire.
3B.) Trade to Seattle for a #2 in 2009.
4.) Chevis Jackson CB LSU - Not the fastest; but super quick twitch and comfortable playing in zone.
5.) Compensation to Carolina for signing Adam Seward - a young veteran to replace Seau as the third ILB.
6.) Trade to Dallas for a #5 in 2009
7.) Jacob Hester RB/FB LSU - Special teams demon and versatile to play many different positions.

Let's sign Chillar as an FA instead of Seward. Use the pick elsewhere.

If I kept the 5th, I would have to resign Seau for another year and I would have drafted OG Schuening of Oregon. Neal and Yates break down a lot and Hochstien is really better off as a situational substitute.
