Wouldn't it be funny if JJ Watt was there at 17 (probably will be) and the Patriots trade down. I would love to be at a draft party and see all the draftnics go nutz. .... Like last year when we passed on Dez Bryant... twice....what a hoot.

Oh, definitely. Every year it happens to some extent - Bryant, Maualuga, whoever. All I know is that on draft day half the board (atleast) will be on suicide watch because the guy they've been slurpin' on for four months wasn't picked.

AGREED! I watched those game highlights on Jordan circulating the interwebs and I didnt see anything special. Tallllkkkk all you want about his "long arms" or "intelligence" or "Gap discipline". At the end of the day, its about what you see on the tape. I saw someone who could consistently get by 1 average college LT. Put two guys on him and he did nothing. Not to mention every time he got off the block his pursuit was terrible. If you arent going to make a play why even line up. I just think he looks "ok", def not a 17th

Thank you. My eyes have lied to me before and it's nice to read of someone else persevering with the same affliction. Jordan was working against sub-par OL in the games I watched and was a non-factor in them. I never saw anything intriguing from him before the Senior Bowl, and by then it was 'why now' Mr. Jordan?

Yep, I finally got around to sone homework last night. My overall impressions? The pro-Jordan camp either A) Haven't seen him play B) Don't know what they're looking at or C) Just want to say they like Cameron Jordan.

With Alualu drawing attention the season before he looked average, working against Colorado's redshirt freshman RT and Nevada's steady, yet unexceptional O-line I saw 'where's Cam?'
I should be quite excited with either Watt or Kerrigan should DFlo's scenario play out. I do wonder about the Condon Curse, which led me to vote Kerrigan, but based on pure potential coupled with apparent work ethic, Mr. Watt does intrigue.

I'm going with Watt, i once voted for Jordan but i was going on the enthusiasm of many posters here after the senior bowl. To me Watt seems the safest pick at DE. Of course there is A Smith but with BB reticence to draft OLB's i think DE is the safer bet.

This, I think (and hope) we go for the biggest need on this team which is OL (not DE as everyone seems to have convinced themselves). To that end i think we trade down, pick up one of the tackles, take Wilkerson or an OLB at 28, trade 33 for a 2012 1st and then get a few of the decent guards in the 2nd/3rd
To me anyway Wilfork, WarrenG/T, Brace, Wright, Pryor, Moore, Stroud, Deaderick, thats a pretty good group. Even when half of them were out they held out
