IDK that Watt is necessarily gone by #8, but I'm beginning to have serious doubts that he's still available by #17. This is somewhat amazing to me when I consider that just 3-4 months ago, Watt appeared to be a 3rd-4th round "sleeper" on many boards.

KILLER, isn't it??
Phil Taylor was a guy I was loving in the 4th Round, back in October, and now he's invading the Upper First.
DaQuan Bowers has had a spectacular ascension, too, of course.
Ditto, Aldon Smith.
But NOTHING that I can think of challenges the meteoric rises of Nick Fairley and Cam Newton, as they helped lead Auburn to the Championship.

I don't see a receiver at 28, no way. Does anyone think Smith compares to Bryant? How many times did we pass on him? Granted, a lot of other factors come into play (character) but still...

i couldnt believe we passed on bryant twice last year. the guy looks like hes gonna be special. your right too, now were gonna pull the trigger on the 3rd or 4th best WR in the 1st round, when we couldve had bryant, the consensus number 1 WR last year and passed....twice?? no way.

We got this guy named McCourty, maybe you've heard of him. Anyways what good would a reciever do if the Oline doesn't give Brady enough time to throw to him?

About as much good as drafting a RB to run behind a line that doesn't block well...

Agreed. A lot of fans get enamored with WR's and RB's and disregard the fact that with out a line to block they arent' worth much. I ve seen WR's and RB's shut down because of a poor O-line, but i dont' think i have to tell you that.

dosnt block well? really? our BAD line gave up the 4th fewest sacks in the league last year. 9th most rushing yards in the league. 5th least amount of QB hits. John Madden just graded us as the best line of 2010. what more do you guys want from our line. Brady had one of his best years throwing the ball last year, and they helped BGE, an undrafted FA go over 1000 yards on the season.
Yes, believe it or not, i have heard of McCourty. But do you really think you would have heard as much about him if Bodden played all year? I remember guys saying great things about Butler too. that didnt work out so well. Dont get me wrong, I really like McCourty, and i think he will be a good player for us. But i also think that Dez Bryant has the potential to be special and would have had a bigger impact on our team last year, and for years to come.
