We all know there will be trade downs and maybe a trade up, but here is who i see being drafted at this point in time!
17. J.J. Watt DE34 Wisconsin
We need a big guy on the line that can get pressure and to replace seymour. Watt has a great first step and the toughness to excel in the trenches as a pro.
28. Nate Solder LOT Colorado
We know Light is getting older and the future is unknown if Light will stay. If he does, it will give Solder time to develop. If not, Solder would be able to learn quickly to protect brady's blindside. I think vollmer is very capable at LOT, but right now at the moment, he is doing a great job on the right side.
33. Jason Pinkston OG Pittsburgh
Mankins will most likely be tagged and traded. Pinkston was an OT at Pitt but will more than likely be move to guard due to his size and limited athletic ability.
60. Jeremy Beal OLB34 Oklahoma (Binky)
PASS RUSHER, ENOUGH SAID!!

I like the first 3 picks. I'm not high on Beal, unfortunately reminds me of a bad TBC.

I'm not as high on Watt as others are here. I think he could be a pick but he does not trike me as someone who is ready to come in and play right away. Just not enough experience.
I almost guarantee you if Light does leave they are not going to trust his blind side to some rookie who failed at times to protect his QB Senior Bowl week. Vollmer would move to left and Solder would move right and battle for the position with Kaczur. He may ending up playing guard for us if both Mankins and Light return.
Pinkston pick is awesome. Very solid NFL guard imo.
I'm kind of up in the air on Beal. Can he be a full time player in a couple of seasons? Not lose his speed by putting on the weight?

Well, I applaud the effort, but the only guy here I like is Watt...and I think 17 is too high for him.

After watching the Senior Bowl, I don't see any way that Solder can play at LT in the pros. Pass rushers were flying by him all game.
i think people need to chill out a little with the OLB talk. We used 2 early picks last year on LBs. lets give them time to develope, namely Cunningham. Lets not forget we lost Warren very early last year. Hopefully with McCourty and Chung playing well, it will force the QBs to hold the ball a second or two longer, with everyone healthy, maybe that will be enough.

I don't think too many are down on Cunningham or Spikes as you say. As a matter of fact I would say most think they are going to succeed as a Pats LB's. It is probably the other OLB that people want to replace with an athletic does it all type. No doubt Nikovich would probably do better with a healthy Warren and Wright in there. But I'd rather see someone that has more natural ability that can improve quickly. Normally that means bringing in a free agent that you know will do well in your system or drafting him in April. He is adequate, a solid backup and strong tier situational player.
