Default Subtle difference in BB's approach last week "We are a tough team too"

I was listening to one of the press conferences before the Texans game (pretty painful) but I am a football junkie.

The usual blah blah blah, the Texans are great, maybe the best team ever, they can score from anywhere and cure cancer. Then he mentioned that they were physical and tough, this is where things shifted. He actually pumped up his own team saying "but we are a physical tough team as well"

This is subtle but he spoke with a lot of confidence and I am sure it was directed right at the players. With so many young players on defense he felt the need to give them confidence. A refreshing change, I am sure the players get tired about hearing how great the other teams are when they are pretty damn good themselves.

Go Pats!!

I love BB's understating manner when it comes to his own team and players... This is one more proof of it, his way of sending a signal of confidence to his players. And a bit of a challenge as you say.

A win on Sunday will be 6 of the last 12 superbowls... how's BB going to understate that---no doubt he'll find a way.

Go Pats.

Just wait and watch what he will do to the old, tired Ravens Defense. The Felgers, Bedards will keep talking how Ravens are sooooooooooooooo great and how Brady is soooooooooo scared of their Defense. Ravens are smart, veteran Defense. But not scary Defense.

Every idiot now thinks, rush 4 guys at Brady and cover with 7 guys. Brady will have no one to throw and it is all over.

Well Morons! I have got news for you.

We can run NOW! We can run with Ridley or Vereen or Woodhead or Vereen can catch in the back field. As Brady showed in Jets games (remember how Vereen caught and ran for 80 yards for TD), great catches by Lloyd in second half of 49ers game, long catches by Vereen, Welker in this Texans game, we can throw in the middle, run the ball, catch in the back field, can throw outside too. They just can't ignore our outside game either.

We are not putting up 40-50 POITNS on teams on so many occasions just like that.
