Our last 3 games against them is what gives a lot of fans like myself confidence going into a potential AFCCG in Denver. Yes I'm aware of our recent struggles in Denver. I think it had more to do with Shanahan vs BB than Denver just being flat out better than us. Shanahan's one of the only coaches who can go tick for tack with BB. We barely beat his Redskins in Washington last year. Shanahan isn't coaching Denver anymore. John Foxx & Jack Del Rio are both great but don't scare me. The NFC playoffs is going to be very interesting. I've no idea who's going to come out of there. I can see ATL,SF,GB or Seattle coming out of the NFC. A GB vs SF rematch is going to be like New Orleans vs SF last year. That game is going to get ugly!

I think Denver is a good team with a great regular season QB. I think the Patriots are a better overall team with a much better playoff QB. I'd be saying the same thing if Aaron Rodgers and the Packers were in the AFC and playing in Denver. He's a better QB than Manning also.

I actually think the Packers or Falcons will likely beat the 49ers in the playoffs. I just don't see them as the dominate team everyone else do. In addition, I don't think they are as good when they defeated GB earlier in the year...In the AFC, it will be either Denver or NE unless Houston or Baltimore decides to show up which is possible. The Pats will not have an easy road regardless. The AFC is so much stronger this year in terms of the playoff contenders.

If the Patriots reach the SB game, my preference would be against,

Redskins
Vikings
Falcons
Packers
Niners
Seahawks (least favorable)

That said, Seattle scares me the same way the Giants do/did. Any team with a defense that explosive scares me. They are for real.
Brady will twitter "U mad bro?"

Living in the DC area, I've been impressed watching RGIII. I basically agree with your list, but I'd switch the Vikings with the Redskins. I think that BB would have an easier time devising a way to stop Peterson, than to stop RGIII.

Credit Seattle for doing what they have done, however, they haven't done anywhere near enough to warrant "fear". Over the last 10 weeks they have walloped a sorry Jets team, walloped a sorry Arizona team and walloped a sorry Buffalo team. They got the 9ers at the perfect time -- after the meat grinder of the game with the Patriots but lost the first meeting. Other than that they squeaked by Chi, they squeaked by St Louis, they lost to Miami, they played pretty good against Minn and lost to Detroit. This is a team with a new QB and Pete Carroll as a HC. Afraid of Seattle? You people scare way too easy.....

I want the Giants in the playoffs and making it to the SB (theoretically speaking). Nothing more I'd love than to see the Patriots get a crack at them again. The thing would be a slaughter in the first quarter and the thing would be completely out of reach by half time. They got lucky! the first time. They did what they had to (just enough) the second time. This time? This time the friggin Patriots would be like a jail break of hungry pissed off lions against a herd of sheep.
