Default Who gets the two open roster spots?

Bolden's already been activated, and GRONK's just inactive, so there are two open roster spots ATM.

Who gets them?

It sounds like they're bringing back Branch for one, but what about the other?

Maybe there's a good punt returner out there. We could use one and it's not a big game plan position so he could get going fast.

Supposedly it's a done deal to bring Branch back.

As for other possibilities:

Lee Evans
Mark Clayton
Blair White
Chansi Stuckey
Michael Clayton
Greg Camarillo
Bo Scaife (TE)
Daniel Graham (TE)

How hilarious would it be if Lee Evans was picked up and we beat Baltimore in the playoffs with him?

The Patriots have been overachievers the past two years. It doesn't have the talent to compensate for injuries, and it wins so much because it puts in 99% effort in the regular season and plays with terrific schemes to mask its deficiencies.

But in the playoffs a good team at 99% will not beat emotional, talented teams that play at 100%. It's what happened against the Giants in 2011 and the Ravens in 2012.

Quick question -- why did LEE EVANS have such a precipitous fall from grace? Has he been injured?

Can you rush the passer?

His tank is empty, wear and tear pretty much take a toll on him. Jags cut him in the preseason is saying a lot.

Seeing as there is literally nobody that knows the offense out there, if it is a WR it has to be (aside from Branch) one of:

Aiken, Kamar WR 6-2
Ebert, Jeremy WR 5'11

Gaffney is still suspended. Slater will also probably have to play more.

According to Bedard the weeks off count towards his suspension so Gaffney can come straight in and play.
