Question OT - Going to First Pats Home game!

Hello PatsFans,

As a longtime lurker and sometimes poster, I'm excited to finally have the opportunity to attend a patriots home game! I think this is going to be a good one, and hopefully we come out on top the Texans.

Sorry that its a bit off topic, I was wondering two things dealing with game day, perhaps some of you could help me with.
1.) What is the best meal to get while at the stadium? I'll have several drinks by the time the game starts and will want something to help me through the rain...
2) Where would be the best place to buy a patriots jersey? As much as I love the Red Gronk Jersey, I want to get a new one for the game. I'll be in town starting this evening so I'll have several days to shop around for a deal, and I'd imagine buying one at the stadium would be pricey.

Thanks so much! Look forward to seeing each and every one of you come game time.

Go Pats!

First game eh...I remember my first game....in 1970..lol..well my friend..you have 406 games to go to catch up to me..good luck...lol
This year is different food wise at the stadium. They went all in house....no more Mcdonald's..no more Papa Ginos....
Food...there is BBQ....Brats...pizza...burgers...dogs...sausages.. nachos....lots of other stuff..all of it pretty good but of course..pricy.
Gronk Shirt.....the pro shop isn't all that bad. I do believe they have the replicas as well as the real game jerseys. Price range will start at 80 bucks and go as high as $250...
Have a great time....where are your seats...?

If you're local, go to the nearest Bob's Store. They always have jerseys at reasonable prices.

As for food or beer inside the stadium. Forget it. You will get gouged, and the food isn't better than the junk you get at the movie theater.

This year they kicked out MacDonalds etc. and Kraft owns all the food concessions in the stadium. The Italian Sausages are the best of a bad lot.

Advances which permit this norm to be exceeded — here and there, now and then — are the work of an extremely small minority, frequently despised, often condemned, and almost always opposed by all right-thinking people. Whenever this tiny minority is kept from creating, or (as sometimes happens) is driven out of a society, the people then slip back into abject poverty.
This is known as "bad luck." RAH

You been to the Stadium this season yet bro'?
Bob's stores and Pats are in Cahoots...for the amount of money you'll save a Bob's store getting it there..you'll spend in Gas gettin' there. Just get it at the pro shop...and's it convenient.

Order a knockoff from China fro twenty bucks. Prob wont' get it for gametime though.

I second not eating at the stadium. Go to Papa Gino's or McDonalds down the road.

Go to CBS Scene for good barfood before the game...or if you want to splurge, Davio's...or if you want a burger, Five Guys...or just walk around Patriot Place and pick a place...all far better than stadium food...IMHO

Congrats!
A Pats game is on my bucket list, tho, my window is closing (not on life, but Brady's prime).
Great game, Monday Night against one of the best in the league. A really hyped game which you can tell you grandkids about. AWESOME.

Thanks for the advice everyone! I will be at the twenty yard line at row 12 or so. Should be great!

I'm going to tailgate beforehand - stadium food doesn't sound so appealing now :-)

I'll see what I can do about getting a jersey somewhere in town tomorrow - otherwise the pro shop it is.

I'm right there with you! So excited about this one I saw the gamen that's depicted in my signature, plus an exhibition game. This would mark my first Monday night game also!
