Watch, the day will be spent in sadness for this Player, yes, a horrible tragedy, but he did murder a woman in cold blood! If there is any moment of silence @ the Chiefs game, or around the league, it better be directed @ the real victims here, a 22 your old woman murdered, a 3 month old child left without parents. Spending anytime honoring this player would be morally wrong.

You should have stopped right there UK. If nothing excuses murder, what relevance to any facts have? You contradicted your own comment with this.

The one thing I hate is calling someone who kills himself after a 'coward'. I'm far from a coward yet I'd never have the guts to shoot myself. For someone to shoot themselves it takes a serious amount of clout....and for that there has to be something seriously wrong in their head.

This is very tragic or both sides and you don't know either of them or the situation.
Suicide is cowardly because it lets the person off the hook for dealing with their actions and punishes all those who cared about him/her.

I have some experience with this in my immediate family.

If a parent murders the person who raped/molested their child, I could have a great deal of sympathy for them. But this clearly wasn't the case here.

Since I don't know all the facts, I will just say this:

This is a horrible tragedy. My heart goes out to Belcher's family, Kasandra Perkins' family, Romeo, Scott, and the entire Chiefs' organization.

.
I think you would agree that suicide can be conditional and situational in terminally-ill circumstances.

I'm not sure why people like you feel the need to act like asses in a thread about a murder/suicide, but whatever works for you I guess. The good thing is that I don't have to keep reading it.

OK, I think pretty much everyone has had their say and now we are getting into more name calling and arguing than making comments.

So it's about time to close this thread. If anyone disagrees with the closing, send a PM to me or one of the other Mods after the game and it will be reconsidered for opening.
