Man, JUST ONCE, I'd love to see what this team could do at full strength. That may not have happened in the last 10 years though, maybe the 2003 season might have been our best injury free season except for Rosie Colvin. 2004 season, Pats won the SB with 2 backup CB's (Law and Poole hurt), don't think that's ever happened before or since.

I thought they were pretty healthy last year at the start of the playoffs (of course Gronk got hurt). Am I wrong?
Also, another reason having at least the #2 seed is important; get those players some more rest.
If things go right, this team should be getting fully healthy by the time the playoffs come around. Yet another reason why a first round bye would be a big deal.

I'm failing to remember what players exactly, but I thought the 2003 team was at the time the Super Bowl Champion with the most games missed due to injury from their starters. This was only to be exceeded by the 2004 Pats. Maybe I'm mistaken though.
I would agree, however, that we were pretty healthy heading into the playoffs last year. Sure, we lost Carter, but you can't expect everyone to be healthy. While he provided solid pressure he was not considered by most to be a top 10 player on the team.
