Ahhh he finally breaks the silence. Can't tell you how relieved I am to know he doesn't hate it here.
I just thought it was a good sign. I am pretty sure there aren't many players going to the press saying how they are happy that the Jaguars picked them up and that they love the team...
Lots of sarcasm, but I get it, he said what he was supposed to say.

Throughout history, poverty is the normal condition of man. Advances which permit this norm to be exceeded — here and there, now and then — are the work of an extremely small minority, frequently despised, often condemned, and almost always opposed by all right-thinking people. Whenever this tiny minority is kept from creating, or (as sometimes happens) is driven out of a society, the people then slip back into abject poverty.

I know these puff pieces produce the same, canned responses from all involved but, if the guy has just an ounce of heart in him, you gotta know he's happy to be playing on a team where he can expect to still play in meaningful games in December - and beyond.
Lets see.....Remain a member of the 3-6 Bucs team going nowhere or a 6-3 Patriots team heading to the playoffs from a cupcake division.
The answer seems easy, anyone would love that move.
Bucs are actually pretty good they are 5-4 and won 4 out of 5.

I know it's probably been posted, but what were the takes on him when he got drafted back in 08(?); I think I remember him being regarded as a 1st rounder and that he was a bit of a head case? Was he ever interviewed by us predraft? What did the draft posters here think of him?
I think I was probably the first person on the board to suggest that the Pats trade for Talib, so I'm as optimistic as anyone. But Albert Haynesworth and Chad Ochocinco were also euphoric after being traded to the Pats ... it's too early to make anything out of this. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this one works out. We desperately need a good man coverage CB. Hell, any kind of CB.

The newest member of the New England Patriots has only been with the team for three days since returning from his suspension, but it's safe to say cornerback Aqib Talib is happy with the trade that brought him to Foxborough.

"Guys have been great. They've embraced me. I love this team," Talib told reporters Thursday via Brian Lowe of Patriots.com.
Haynesworth and Chad said the same thing, so I don't particularly care one way or the other, but for however little it's worth, he did say the right thing.
