slot cornerback. He is a solid player in that position. He has struggled this year but he is better then anyone else on are roster right now.

I do remember hearing somewhere that DRC was one of Belichick's favorite players in that class, so I'm sure there's interest, just not at that price. A fourth would be ideal, a third maybe.
I would love to see a player of DRC's ability come here as a CB.

Personally, I would actually consider it, but there's a big difference in my opinion and that of Bill Belichick, as he isn't very likely to make any trades before tomorrow.

I do agree that the tendency to try and build within while avoiding the overpriced rate of CB's is a great theory, but it needs to work at the same time. For the NEP that theory has not produced adequate results in the secondary, especially in a passing league + coming off of last yr's disasterous performance from our CB's.

Pats bust a lot on 2nd round DBs. Are chances are about 50/50 there wheras with DRC you pretty much know what you are getting. Problem is I think he is a FA at the end of the year so it would only be a rental unless BB was willing to pay out big money to DRC as well.

I would give up a second for him.

No way, for 8 games! The Eagles will probably ask for a 4th.

The most amazing thing about this thread is that The Riddler hasn't chimed in yet; DRC was his binky around draft time 3+ years ago and again when the Eagles traded for him. He was right all along; wise man, that Riddler. I think the Eagles fire sale is a distinct possibility, and this could happen, I hope so anyway.

No he isn't.

He just plain sucks. He is a terrible football player, with terrible technique and got burnt all last year and continues to get burnt this year.

We are a better team without him on the squad. We could sign Joe Schmoe off the street and be better than with Arrington.
