Flacco
Manning
Roethlisberger
Wow... simply... wow...

TB had a ~50 passer rating in this game; I have no clue how this is relevant to the Pats' defense. On top of that Flacco had a higher rating against the heralded Houston defense. Oh and Eli had better games against Atlanta and GB. So only the SF defense managed to do a better job containing one of the QBs the Pats faced.

Maybe if the New England Patriots would field a better defense, Tom Brady would obtain that elusive fourth Super Bowl ring.

At this point I'm fairly certain one of us is an idiot.

Last years first 8 games are greatly boosted by week 1 against the Phins, when (if i recall this right) we put pressure on Henne and at least hurried him over 20 times in that game. It was either very close to 50% of passing downs, or slightly over.

Cant remember for sure. I think PFF had that on their game review back then.

Now that was an amusing game. Only game better than that one was the game vs the Dolphins the year before that.

The Patriots have been overachievers the past two years. It doesn't have the talent to compensate for injuries, and it wins so much because it puts in 99% effort in the regular season and plays with terrific schemes to mask its deficiencies.

But in the playoffs a good team at 99% will not beat emotional, talented teams that play at 100%. It's what happened against the Giants in 2011 and the Ravens in 2012.

This may not be the worst ever secondary but this is pretty bad secondary. We have never blown 10-14 point leads in the 4th Quarter to QBs not named Manning. This year any QBs who are very bad also destroying us.

I hope we go and get an excellent CB. Hope we go and trade for Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie even it is 3rd round pick. But we all know it won't happen.

If we have to face QB like Manning or even Joe Flacco, we will have a very very tough time in playoffs. I don't get it. Why doesn't BB address this. Every year, we suck and keep sucking in the secondary. No one is worried about our secondary. They know that even 14-21 point lead can be easily blown by us.

Just a reminder here folks... the total NFL experience for our D Backs last Sunday was a whopping 5 years... they will get better.

At one time we had 5 defensive rookies on the field at one time, this is a very young defense..
