Unhappy Wish we could close games like Manning can

I think I forgot just how good Manning is. I wish we could close a game like that. Wow.

We haven't even played the 49ers and Texans yet, and Jets have. I am not feeling very hopeful right now about the rest of our season.

What we need to fix:
a) Secondary coaching needs to be fundamentally changed, with a focus on looking for the ball.
b) Offensive play calling and clock management, in tight situations has been abysmal.
Both of these are strongly based on coaching....

The difference is that Brady calmly calls audibles while Manning flaps like a chicken, barks 11 code words, and makes sure every camera in the stadium has documented his once-in-a-generation (and patented, I believe) ability to see a defensive formation and change the play. Both have the same effect, but Manning transcends measurable human intellect while Brady merely chooses a different play.

At least our defense isn't THAT bad.

Your thread title is misleading. This isn't about Manning. It's another opportunity to complain about the Pats.

Yeah, where are those posters saying being up by 17 against Manning in the 4th quarter was a "huge" lead? The Broncos did a great job. They kept on playing, never gave up, and took advantage of every opportunity to win a game they had no business winning. Maybe some players around here should watch the tape.

Broncos didn't come back because of Peyton Manning. They came back because of Philip Rivers.

pretty sure that carter guy was on the pats practice squad a couple years ago. guess we didnt keep him because he turned his head too much.

joking, but he did play very well, and thats proof that guys can be coached up. whereas it seems our players are coached down.

sd didnt even deserve the 24-0 lead

17 points were off denver mistakes

the score of tonights game without turnovers would have been 14-7 denver

San Diego didnt score a single point in the second half, San diego's offense lost the game for them, Rivers had a bigger hand in the Broncos win than Manning did, and please o please change the title of your thread
