Seriously???????
Edelman was on the field the first offensive play of the game, along with Hernandez Gronkowski and Lloyd. How is that not starting over Welker?

I'm sorry, I meant to say we're very clutch. The most clutch team in all of football. We proved it today, just like we proved it two Super Bowls against the Giants. Is that better.

Meh......I'm going to chalk this up as a collective bad day.
I am a little concerned about the offense. I'm hoping it is a slow start due to a lack of reps during the preseason or something.
I'm also concerned about what may look to be the first major signs of Brady's age.

I await andy's response. My guess is that Welker's health is not at 100%. As with Cannon/Vollmer, Welker and Edelman have been essentially sharing a wide receiver role.

Just very bizarre.
Where are you getting that Edleman has more snaps than welker through 2 weeks?

Well if you want to be a petulant, butthurt baby who feels entitled to get a win out of his team whenever he wants one, good for you.
The fact is this team has won more games than any, pretty much over whatever period you want to use in the last decade.
The fact that you come up with 3 examples in 6 years, and call that proof of your inane comment, just shows how wrong you are.
Grow up. Every team loses games. Crying about it so you can act like you deserve better as a fan is classless.

I don't follow your argument but a team can be consistent, even dominating, without being clutch. I don't see anything confusing about it.

Technically that is correct, but being on the field for the first play and being 'a starter' in everything except a technical definition are not really the same thing.

That's fine. Ronde Barber "technically" got his 200th start as a CB last week before moving to FS. It still goes down that Ronde Barber started 200 games as a CB, and it still goes down that Julian Edelman has started the first two games of the year.
