Plagued by concussions, Smith has appeared in just 29 games in three years, and been a revolving door when he's in the lineup. He wouldn't be a major upgrade for the Jets' embattled offense. Hunter would back-up Barry Richardson in St. Louis.

OMG, what a hilarious trade. Football historians, can you ever remember a 1-for-1 trade of players at the same position? Ever?

There are also reports that the Jets have traded Mark Sanchez to themselves for Tim Tebow, straight up.

Made me think of the Jets right away. There's a lot of disorganization at work there, and this seems like just the latest example.
