Lloyd looks poised to have a Perfect Storm year to me. He's an unusual talent whose name doesn't automatically come up as a Top 10 type of receiver but watch the film.
Part of the Storm thing for me is him getting back together with Josh, and the second part would be hooking up with a guy named Brady. Tremendous potential there. No Ocho moments trying to learn the playbook, etc.
What gets me is that more than a few writers have reiterated the notion that he's not a "true deep threat". I guess this is because of his 40 time, but let's just look at the numbers you posted and kind of think for ourselves for a moment. He is a deep threat, and he's a reliable deep threat at that. He probably has football speed as opposed to sprinter speed, but let everybody choose to think he can't get behind them.
I don't do fantasy but Lloyd would be my first drafted WR if I did. I wonder how he is in the RZ, but we have so many RZ options that I'm not too concerned. Just open things up and this offense should be good for 5k yards in the blink of an eye. Jeezuz, 5k without him so what do we expect without going crazy with this? This **** could make you crazy. This could be a record year even by their standards.
