Default If all the Patriots tight ends were laid end to end ...

... it would probably be Gronk getting most of the action.

But seriously, if the base set has 2 TEs and 2 WRs, it's not ridiculous for there to be almost as many TEs as WRs on the roster.

Obviously, there will be more snaps (on all 4 downs) with more WRs than TEs than vice-versa. So there will be fewer TEs than WRs on the final roster, and on any interim roster as well. But having 7-8 TEs on the roster of 90 is not as crazy as it first might sound.

Green Bay kept 5 TEs on their 53 man roster last year. It's not unheard of.

This shows the subtle genius of Bill Belichick. This is a copycat league. The Patriots have shown how a 2 TE set can be very effective. Tight Ends are at a premium right now. Belichick is hoarding some of the top TEs in the game. Other teams will be looking for TEs. Belichick's got them. I bet he trades at least one for draft picks.

Daniel Graham just got cut. I would sign him too. Let's bring back all the alumni.
