Amen. That was about the most upstanding thing we've seen out of a young player in a long time. He expressed understanding and gratitude for having had the opportunity to learn from Belichick and play with Brady, Branch, Welker, etc on the day he got the news he wouldn't be on the Super Bowl roster. A good person who we might see down the road with the Patriots again. Best of luck to him.

I think in typical BB fashion he did the kid a solid all the way around. He was signed in part because Bill respects what Schiano was doing at Rutgers. He was picked back up right after the superbowl which underscored Bill's impression that the kid had a shot at this level. He was cut because things just fell in such a manner here that Bill was able to acquire multiple veteran players with extensive productive experience in this system. And probably because Tiquan had a far better shot of making the roster right out of camp of his former college coach in his rookie season as an NFL HC building a new foundation in Tampa than he remotely had here in 2012.
