Default Lots Of OL Questions

We ended the year with one of the best OL's in the league.

QUESTIONS
1) Will Connolly be re-signed?
2) Will Koppen be re-signed?
3) Will Waters retire?
4) Will Light retire?
5) How serious are Vollmer's health concerns?

Depending on the answers, we have minimal off-season needs or very serious ones.

Koppen and Light will go, but I think Connolly and Waters will be back. I'd find it strange that Waters got so far in his first trip with the Pats, and wouldn't be willing to give it one more shot.

Just like every season at any given position...

FA
Draft
Summer Cap Cuts

Long ways to go.

I see
Connolly - resigned
Koppen - gone
Waters - Back for 1 season
Light - who knows. He could walk away and retire having made 30-40Mill in his career. Not bad for a 2nd round pick. Or he could decide to go for it for 1 more year.

It is obvious they will need to draft or pickup via FA a backup C or OG

I'm sure this was already posted somewhere, and it's just rumors, but here's what the herald has to say:

BostonHerald.com - Blogs: Rap Sheet» Blog Archive » Looking toward the future… Marcus Cannon to be considered an offensive tackle

Marcus Cannon, who beat cancer and was a late-season addition for depth, will be considered a tackle, not a guard, moving forward, I’m told.

seeing as how it's the offensive line, I don't think you can afford to stand pat.
