This is a good thread to see how we view the team. Many think that it is the offense that is needy (WR and RB) and that was need in the Super Bowl.

My view is that the secondary has been our weakness all season. Ty Law would have made a huge difference. So would Milloy or Harrison. So would OTIS.

As far as the offense, we needed Brady and Welker to connect in crunch time (also with other receivers). The issue was not the need for more personnel.

Dillon was the first thing i thought before I even saw the poll options.

Or Rodney Harrison.

No love for Vrabel .... I guess he was a nice addition to our SB defenses but not a player who would be likely to change a games outcome.

Probably Randy Moss, if we're getting him circa 2004. If not him, then maybe Dillon.

1.) Belichick era

2.) I'd caution the wisdom of taking players from a bygone era.

Originally said #56 (Andre Tippett), then read more than just the thread title.

Belichick era choice would be Ty Law. Just so sick of seeing our DBs a step behind and not in position to break up passes. I'm convinced that Ty in his prime would have meant the defense getting off the field more quickly, possibly another sack, less skewed time of possession.

Seymour
Harrison
Moss
Law
Neal

I think a case can be made for any of the above five, depending upon circumstances moving forward.

Gah....totally forgot about Seymour. He'd probably be my top choice.

The offense is fine. It's been setting NFL records since '07.

The revolving door defense is definitely the problem.

Has anyone ever counted up how many players have rotated through this defense in the past few years ? 50 ? 100 ? 200 ? Whatever, it's ridiculous.
