It'd be easier to convince people (us the avergae poster here) we were on the staff than on the team as a player.

That appraisal seems way to low. I'm wondering if it is an appraisal from 2001. The price of diamonds has shot up since then. That being said, $63k is way too high for a staff ring. I think the player ring on Pawn Stars is available for less then that.

The ring is way over-priced. I believe during one episode of Pawn Stars they said that Players rings are worth way more and that staff rings are worth around 15K. I remember someone was trying to get over 30K for a Miami Heat staff ring once....

Staff rings are not nearly as coveted, since they are more widespread.
