Almost makes me wish I hadn't been banned on JI. I got away with an entire regular season and some of the post season masquerading as a Jets fan before they caught on.

Jets fans have to be in agony this week.

The two teams that they hate most both OWN them and are fighting for something that they haven't sniffed in 43 years.

It's like if your girlfriend ran off with the guy next door that you hate, dropped 30 pounds to get smokin' hot, got engaged, and now you have to watch the wedding on TV.

They should be happy for Ellis. The guy wanted to go back to the Jets, but Rexy didn't want him because he felt he would be a bad influence on younger players. That's why the Jets gave Holmes the most money in guarantees for a WR and made him captain because he would be a good influence.

Ellis wanted to finish his career as a Jets and was loyal to the team for a decade.

If McGinest was to win a Super Bowl with Cleveland before he retired or Vrabel won one with the Chiefs, I would be happy for them. Even if they were in the same situation and went to the Jets instead of the teams they went to, I would have been happy for them. It wasn't their choice to leave the Pats.
