If the wine is as mellow as his attitude has become even about Bill, the wine must be pretty good. From his conference call today:

Quote:
Q: Do you rank Bill Belichick among the top head coaches in NFL history?

DB: He certainly has to be in that conversation. I don’t know who you put up there with him in terms of his record with the Patriots and what he did as a defensive coordinator with the Giants prior to that. Then coming back and being a defensive coordinator with the Patriots in ’96. Obviously the run he’s had as the head coach of the Patriots has been unmatched. If he’s not the greatest, I like to meet whoever else is in that conversation.

They're not going to let him toss the coin, however, for fear it might get picked off by a linebacker

He has a coffee business, too, I think.

I like the honorary captains idea, btw. Hope Gillette is fired up Sunday.

Would've rather seen Willie Mac. Drew was just back.

We just have to try to evaluate them the best we can."

It started out great and people got really excited but then a few mediocre, underachieving seasons and it had to give way to a better winery who just worked harder and wanted it more.
5 Rings for Brady!! and Lifer like this.

Willie Mac or Milloy would have mended some bridges and been cool.

Would have loved to see that, but to be fair Willie is an employee of the NFL and probably can't show allegiance even if he wanted to, and Lawyer Milloy is on the active roster of another NFL team.
