Could be either way; I'm worried but not panicked.

Just saving him for next week. If they had needed him, they would have used him. They didn't, so they didn't.

From Reiss's 2nd Quarter Thoughts:

Quote:
5. Left guard Logan Mankins isn’t going wire to wire. Ryan Wendell came on to replace him on the Patriots’ fourth drive. Mankins was back on the fifth drive.
Looks like maybe they weren't planning to play him the whole game anyway, maybe they planned to ease his playing time back in? But then when you're up by 4TDs at the half, why risk injury/aggravation.

Exactly, and that's why Hernandez wasn't out there either. Up by 4TDs, why put a dinged player at risk. Let them rest.

Mankins is the Gronk of the O-line... Dude is not human..

Really worried about Gronks elbow, and A-Herns injury(head I think)..

Mankins earned every single cent of that big contract he was given. Dude is a STUD.
