My sources tell me that, even by NFL standards, Chad has a busy social calendar, so to speak. And I don't think some faux marriage to a faux woman is going to change that. Nevertheless, this guy has been a good teammate all year by all accounts, seems to be a willing blocker and has been getting behind the defense lately. I think he is trying hard, he obviously just doesn't see the field the way Tom does.

I think the answer to that is pretty self evident. Reality TV gigs, baby, that's where it's at. Hooking up with Evelyn kept his profile up on VH-1 and set them both up for a potential spin off. Notice they aren't claiming the wedding is off yet...just that the road to the wedding has hit a (potential ratings) bump... Chad has been planning for life after football since the day he was drafted...

Used to be you had to be able to act to get on TV...and once you made it you had to duck and punch to keep your private life private and off cameras. Nowadays all you have to do land a series is be willing to let cameras follow you around 24/7. And in the process a whole generation of "celebrities" have been created because they are willing to do little more than that...and pander on social media. How else can you explain the Kardashian's meteoric rise to celebrity first family status?

Chad has more twitter followers than football fans, and if he has to choose that's always going to be the following he's most comfortable cultivating and nurturing because it not nearly as difficult to keep them entertained.
